GEOvis provides as many licenses as requested. There is no fixed limit on the number of user accounts per company or project. The number of licenses can be scaled flexibly according to your project needs, and customer-specific settings can be adapted by the account administrators.
Yes, as a cloud-based web application, GEOvis is always up to date. Updates are deployed centrally, so all users automatically benefit from the latest features and improvements without needing to install anything. The platform uses standard web technologies and is platform-independent, working on any device with a modern browser.
Yes, GEOvis supports integration with third-party platforms through a REST API for data exchange. Data can be both imported from and exported to external systems. The platform automates data exchange and includes digital processes such as IoT, cloud computing, and decentralized, cross-interface communication. This makes it possible to connect GEOvis with existing infrastructure management systems.
The logbook provides a chronological record of all project-specific events, enabling complete project control. It lists all alarms, watchdog notifications, import tasks, and manual entries (e.g., when a user makes changes to the project). Filters help you quickly find specific log entries by type (manual, alarm, watchdog, import task, system), author, date range, and labels.
GEOvis features a comprehensive company account system with differentiated access and authorization levels. Company administrators can: set up and manage projects, configure sensors and reports, define users (staff and customers) and their rights, assign projects to specific users, and manage alarm configurations. Customer-specific login credentials ensure that each user only sees the projects and data they are authorized to access.
GEOvis provides an "All Projects" overview with a map showing all monitoring projects and their current status (OK, offline, warning, alarm, finished). Projects can be divided into lots and sub-projects for various construction companies or planners. Each project has an individual structure with customizable background maps, layer management for different floors and views, and configurable sensor layouts. The platform supports efficient management of large-scale projects with large datasets.
Yes, GEOvis offers comprehensive reporting features: interactive creation of diagrams, tables, and profiles; use of customizable templates; export of measurement data as CSV or PDF reports; user-defined diagram settings; and automatic generation and distribution of reports (e.g., weekly reports). Reports can be sent as PDF files or as links that allow other users to interact with the reports directly in GEOvis.
GEOvis allows you to create alarm plans with multiple alarm levels (e.g., AMW – attention value, IW – intervention value, SEW – alarm value). Alarms can be activated or deactivated with a single click. You can define the number of trigger events required before an alarm is sent, and configure any number of alarm recipients. Alarm notifications are sent directly via email or through the F24 (Dolphin) alerting platform. The alarm status is visible on the project map through color-coded sensor symbols.
GEOvis provides extensive visualization capabilities: interactive map views with sensor locations (OSM, satellite, or custom DXF backgrounds), time-series graphs and deformation curves, convergence diagrams for tunnel monitoring, vibration event analysis (Vsum, Vx, Vy, Vz, Fx, Fy, Fz), inclinometer profiles, 3D displacement vectors, bar charts overlaid on maps, track monitoring profiles (versine, cant), noise and temperature monitoring, and settlement diagrams. All diagrams can be customized with user-defined settings.
GEOvis supports both automatic and manual data import. Automatic import is handled through scheduled import tasks at configurable intervals via FTP connections from field measurement systems. Manual measurements can also be uploaded. The platform includes a watchdog function that monitors import tasks and alerts when data is missing. Third-party data from external platforms can also be automatically imported via REST API.
GEOvis supports over 30 predefined sensor types including: Prism, Theodolite, Crackmeter, Extensometer, Inclinometer, Temperature, Piezometer, Pressure, Speed, Solar Radiation, Distance, Load Cell, Voltage, Vibration, Hydrostatic Level, GPS, Rainfall, Flow, Volume, Noise, and specialized types like TrackControl sensors (Twist/Warp, Versine vertical/horizontal, Superelevation/Cant, Settlement). New sensor types can also be added and expanded as needed. Each sensor type has its own symbol for clear map visualization.
GEOvis is a web-based application accessible through the portal at mygeovis.ch. Each customer receives individual login credentials with customer-specific access rights. No software installation is required – you simply need a standard web browser. The platform is device-independent and works on computers, tablets, and smartphones.
Amberg GEOvis is a cloud-based web platform for the management, visualization, and analysis of geomonitoring projects. It serves as the central monitoring platform where sensor data from automatic and manual measurements is imported, processed, visualized, and evaluated. GEOvis is accessible via any web browser on desktop and mobile devices, providing 24/7 access to your monitoring data from anywhere.
